Great success last night!
Hard to count heads as darkness closed in, but seemed like 100 +/- were there (maybe 125?!).
But while the turn-out was wonderful, the views were out of this world:

More from the Argus IMRA Planetarium
To follow up on the presentations given in the Argus/IMRA Planetarium, here is the Argus Planetarium's webpage. The story of the planetarium, how it is or can be used, and for those now considering purchase of a telescope, a guide to choosing such and instrument, are all available there.
Thanks too, to Ron Robinson for having made it available. The combination of an inside show and an outside event was great!

...And for making those amazing views possible, thanks VERY much to the University Lowbrow Astronomers ( or on their Facebook page) club! With telescopes and the know-how to point them, you all made the event an amazing and inspiring opportunity that many Pioneer Students will remember as a stand-out event. There are certainly many ways students could be inspired to pursue a career in the sciences, but the sort of experience you all provided last night would have to be on the top ten list of such.
